I have come to the conclusion that these two kids can't hear me when I tell them something. 80% of the time they don't even acknowledge me and then the other 20% of the time they stop, look at me and then continue with what they were doing.
Right now they are fighting in the living room about who gets to be Underdog.
Kaleigh has had a runny nose most of the day and that always makes life more exciting.
I've come to another shocking conclusion, purchasing a car will be the most difficult thing you do in your life. Forget raising kids, forget school, forget everything. This car buying business is a giant game and you have to play to win or you get screwed.
We started looking for new cars 2 years ago, yes you read that right 2 YEARS ago. In the last month we've really started working seriously with dealers.
The wonderful part about all this is that my dad used to sell cars so when I called him last night, he gave me some amazing advice. He told me what a salesperson would say in every possible scenerio and I ended the conversation feeling very confident so we'll see how it goes.
Right now I'm playing the "the ball is your court" game with Henna Chevrolet. I sent them a "firm" email last night that stated the monthly quote they sent us did NOT reflect the final monthly payment amount because I was fully aware that they hadn't factored in TT&L and I told them that if they could not fax my mom a copy of their work on the monthly quote and the original invoice on the car, not the invoice PER car but the invoice on the volume of that model that they had on hand then we could not go any further with the purchase and that I appreciated their help. I only heard one thing from Craig at Henna and it was "I'm sending your request to the finance office" and that was at 9am this morning. It is now 2pm.
So I did not go grocery shopping last night and I'm kicking myself right now. I have no pain killers left but the good thing is that the pain isn't too bad at the moment. I'm working on the grocery list right now. Well I should say "trying" to work on the grocery list. Ryan and Kaleigh were just playing in the hallway and Ryan decided to drag Kaleigh to the other end and he ran her head into the wall.
I will write more later.
